YEAR 2012: The first ideas of the dream “Local Specialties” began to take shape with Van Don oysters. Known as a marine treasure, Pacific oysters are rich in protein, amino acids, zinc, and vitamins. However, their distinct fishy smell, soft texture, and tendency to crumble posed significant challenges in transforming them into a nutritious and appealing daily food product.

YEAR 2014: Despite numerous challenges, the passion and love for the homeland never faltered. Perseverance through the years led to hundreds of experiments aimed at eliminating the fishy odor using traditional Vietnamese spices and researching stir-frying techniques. Finally, the project “Research on the technological process of processing Pacific oysters into dried oysters, seasoned oysters, and oyster spring rolls in Quang Ninh” was successfully realized under the name BAVABI – Treasures of the Sea.
